Is starting an Internet business an idea that appeals to you?

To earn a lot of money online you need to do two things - find a product that sells and find people to help you sell it. Lets now look at how best you can do this…

1. Recruit an affiliate army that sells your product day and night

Giving affiliates a reason to promote your product is the first issue that you need to consider. There are a couple of ways to do this.

The first is to create a product that is so powerful, and which is needed by so many people, that affiliates automatically recognize it as a guaranteed money maker for them. This is an ideal situation but the problem is that it is difficult to come up with a product that achieves this effect. It is possible though, you just need to perform extensive market research and put sufficient time and resources into the creation of your product.

The second approach, which is the most common, is to send the top affiliates in your niche a free review copy of your product. Then, ask them to promote it if they like it. Make sure that you follow up because super affiliates receive dozens of joint venture offers per day.

2. Create a powerful sales funnel

The term ’sales funnel’ refers to the period of time between you getting someone’s name and email address and them buying your highest priced product.

An example of a sales funnel is as follows…

A visitor to your landing page signs up for a free report or product, and are then redirected to a page that offers a discounted product for . Following this he is sent a series of emails that contain useful information but which also promote a product. After that series of emails, or when he makes that purchase, he is sent a new series of emails that promote an even higher priced product, and so on.

The above example is based on a visitor who always goes for your upsell, for those who don’t purchase your upsell, you would implement a different path until he becomes a buyer.

Affiliates will send more traffic your way when they realize how powerful your marketing funnel is and how much money they make with your products compared to the competition.

Finally, try not to over complicate the whole process. Many people want to make their product perfect right from the start but, most of the time, those people will never be able to complete their project because it is too complex.

This is good advice, and I have personally used the tactics set out in this article to market my own products. Whatever niche or niches that you happen to be in, this approach works equally as well.
